Exploring Winter Wonderlands

By Travel Motivation, Travel Tips No Comments

JIFU knows that it’s never too early to start planning vacations for 2021, and that sometimes the best form of travel is through your computer screen. We wanted to share some of our favorite places to visit in the wintertime. These are places that shine most brilliantly in the colder months, from snow capped mountain peaks to stunning icicle-covered landscapes. Snuggle in deeper to your comfiest blankets and prepare to be wowed by the beauty of our natural world.

Queenstown, New Zealand

The first stop on our remote winter wonderland journey is down under. Queenstown is known for its incredible skiing and snowboarding on the Remarkables Mountain Range, which is located near the gorgeous Lake Wakatipu. If you are not much of a snow bunny, the view of the mountain range from the lake is enough to take your breath away (if the freezing air doesn’t first).

Gullfoss, Iceland

Gullfoss is an Icelandic waterfall that is in the canyon of the Hvítá river and is one of the more popular destinations in the region. The two tier waterfall descends 32 meters (105 feet) down. The freezing cold water comes from the great Langjökull glacier, so the mist that sprays from the waterfall is truly refreshing. Because of this, visitors are urged to bring waterproof clothing in order to fully experience the magnificence of Gullfoss.

Lake Baikal, Russia

Our adventure brings us to the frozen tundra of Russia. Despite the stereotypes that are foisted upon this area, there are many gorgeous natural features that should not be overlooked. One such a place is Lake Baikal, which is known for being the oldest existing freshwater lake on Earth, as well as being the deepest continental body of water. The lake teems with flora and fauna due to the fact that the climate in the area is relatively more mild.

Jigokudani Monkey Park, Japan

Perhaps one of the most unique and well known of our featured destinations is Jigokudani Monkey Park in Japan. You may be familiar with the images of Japanese Macaques bathing in the hot springs, but the park has quite a bit more to offer. The juxtaposition between the steaming springs that exist because of volcanic activity and the bright white snow that comes along with the park’s evaluation of 850 m (2,800 ft) is truly a sight to behold.

Midway, Utah, USA

Nestled in the Western United States, Midway is your gateway to what seems like another world. From here, visitors can easily access the incredible Homestead Crater. It is a “geothermal hot spring that was created over 10,000 years ago as melting snow went deep into the earth and percolated upward from being heated by the earth’s interior.” You really just have to see it to believe it, and there are many different ways to do so. Additionally, Midway is known for its incredible “ice castles”, which bring fairytales to life.

Comment below which place you are most amazed by, or any other places that must be explored and experienced in the winter months.

Personal Branding in Affiliate Marketing

By JIFU Success, JIFUlife, Personal Development No Comments

As network marketers, we strive every day to share quality products and services that offer outstanding value to our customers and members. JIFU affiliates are the lifeblood of our company, and a massive part of what makes our business model so special.

The individuals who we work with know how to not only market JIFU’s services, but are skilled in marketing themselves. There are five basic reasons why it is vastly important to build a successful personal brand in network marketing. These are helpful tips for someone who is just getting into affiliate marketing and they are great reminders for seasoned veterans.

1.Credibility

When you establish yourself using your social media platforms, a website, or in person, you are able simultaneously establish yourself as reliable, trustworthy, and knowledgeable about the company you are representing.

Part of this is making sure you know answers to potential questions that clients or buyers may have, as well as having a good understanding of the company you are partnering with. It is also important to have a good rapport with corporate management, so as to become more aware of the company culture.

2. Uniqueness

While it is important to represent the partner company accurately and correctly, it is as equally as important to add in your own unique marketing flavor. You are probably not the only affiliate that is trying to sell the products and services, so making yourself stand out is imperative.

Oftentimes, loyal customers come back time and time again not only because of the products, but because of the connection they feel with the salesman/affiliate. Being able to achieve a perfect balance between the company’s brand and your own personal brand is where you will find immense success. For example, JIFU offers brand assets for our affiliate partners to use on their social medias, but it is up to the affiliates themselves to use those tools in a way that will make them stand out from the masses.

3. Become a Leader

As an affiliate marketer, you understand the value of selling products, but it is valuable to “sell” yourself as well. Build your personal brand on the foundation of leadership and knowledge, and you will establish an environment where buyers and members feel comfortable asking you questions. This will lead to a more committed customer base.

Some things to consider when you are building your personal brand include consistency, professionalism, and coordination. These things will help you construct your online presence in a manner that sets you apart from less dedicated and experienced affiliates.

4. Know your Audience

Be aware that your personal brand attributes to who your audience is, so it is important that you are consciously working towards a specific audience. Despite that you are not the only affiliate, you are the only YOU, so use that to your advantage. Different affiliates can attract vastly different audiences, so don’t get lulled into a false sense of boredom.

5. Strive to Reach a Goal

We have talked about setting and achieving goals before, but a massive part of that is allowing your personal brand to set you up for success. Each affiliate has their own personal goals when it comes to their business, so you need to evaluate your plan based on what you hope to achieve.

You may want to become a top earner who makes more money than any affiliate before them. In which case, you would want to set aside a lot of time to speak with professionals, work with your team, and take your position in the business world very seriously. On the other hand, you may want to earn some extra income on the side, but affiliate marketing is not your main priority. In this scenario, you may not become comparatively successful, but your workload would decrease significantly.

These are only five of the best tips that we have to offer when it comes to establishing and creating a personal brand. There are many more ways to do this, and JIFU.com offers the tools you need to become successful. Check out the website if you are interested in learning more about our affiliate program!

How to Develop Self Consistency

By Personal Development 26 Comments

It’s the same old story, you know what things you need to do to make yourself and your business better, but you can’t seem to form good habits out of them.

Self consistency is the key to success, whether that be in your personal or professional life. Self discipline and consistency will change the way that you make decisions and live your life. Here are five tips that will help you get to where you need to be.

1. Know yourself

There is no fix-all solution to increasing your self consistency and discipline because everyone is so different. You know the way that your mind works better than anyone, so it is important to pick strategies that work for you. This does not mean to avoid challenging yourself, but to find healthy ways to do so.

2. Set Priorities

When you start with a non negotiable and set priorities to your goals, being consistent will seem far less daunting. You will also be able to use your time wisely, devoting the most time to the highest priority goal and less time to the objectives further down the list. Be sure to reevaluate your priorities as other factors shift and change.

3. Develop a schedule that works for you

It is vastly important that you find a way to schedule your work. There are a number of ways that you can do this, from buying a good planner, setting reminders on your phone, or anything else that works for you. Test out different methods or draw on your own knowledge of yourself to pick the most effective way of scheduling work.

4. Hold yourself accountable

This step sounds easy, but this is where most people trip up. Don’t be mean to yourself, but make sure that you hold yourself accountable when you don’t reach a goal. You can do this by writing down your goals and progress. Breaking your larger goals into smaller, more achievable daily goals is another good way to hold yourself accountable.

5. Have an accountability partner

Doing all of this alone can be overwhelming and it can be hard to hold yourself accountable. If you have a partner in business or a best friend who you can rely on to remind you of your goals, you can begin to develop more self consistency to avoid disappointing your partner.

These are just a few examples of how to increase your self consistency, though there are many other things that can also help with this. Use these tips and any others that you find in your dedicated research, and you are well on your way to a life with more consistent habits.

By Uncategorized No Comments

By Uncategorized No Comments

By Uncategorized No Comments

Presentation De JIFU En Amerique Latine !

By Uncategorized No Comments

Worldly Warm Winter Drinks

By JIFUlife, Travel Motivation 42 Comments

As the weather darkens and the northern hemisphere angles itself away from the sun, we turn to warm, and comforting drinks. Here at JIFU, we know that exploring the world broadens our horizons and enriches our lives. However, sometimes a trip is not an option, so we have decided to gather a list of warm beverages from around the world.

The Netherlands: Anijsmelk

Our first stop is in the gorgeous Netherlands, where they are no stranger to cold winters. If anyone knows how to stay warm in a delicious way, it’s the Dutch. Traditionally, the drink is made to keep ice skaters warm. One only needs three ingredients to make anijsmelk.

Recipe

  • 3 cups whole milk
  • 1 tablespoon anise seed
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  1. Combine the milk & anise seeds in a saucepan.
  2. Place over a low-medium heat; allow the milk to come to a low simmer.
  3. Add honey, and keep it simmering for 5-10 more minutes.
  4. Remove saucepan from heat.
  5. Pour the warmed milk through a fine mesh strainer to remove the anise seeds.
  6. Serve warm

Matcha: Japan

Matcha is probably one the more popular warm drinks from Japan. Though it has similar origins in China, there are two specific regions that are known for their matcha; Uji in Kyoto and Nishio in the Aichi prefecture. The drink traditionally has spiritual and ceremonial ties, but is also enjoyed for its earthy flavor and antioxidants.

Recipe

  • ¼ teaspoon matcha
  • 2 ounces boiling water
  • 6 ounces additional boiling water or steamed milk
  • Maple syrup, honey, or other sweetener, optional
  1. sift the matcha into a mug or small bowl to get rid of any lumps.
  2. Pour in the 2 ounces boiling water. Using a matcha whisk or small regular whisk, whisk briskly from side to side until the matcha is fully dispersed and there is a foamy layer on top.
  3. Add the remaining 6 ounces boiling water or steamed milk and whisk again until foamy. Sweeten to taste, if desired.

United States: Pumpkin Spice Latte

The first pumpkin spice latte was developed by coffee giant Starbucks in 2003, but is easy to make for yourself at home, no matter where you are. Something about the pumpkin spice, clove aroma, and touch of sweetness is sure to warm you up and turn any frown upside down.

Recipe

  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons pure pumpkin puree
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup hot espresso or strong brewed coffee
  1. Sweetened whipped cream, for serving
  2. Combine the milk, pumpkin puree, sugar, pumpkin pie spice and vanilla in a medium microwave safe bowl
  3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and vent with a small hole. Microwave until the milk is hot, 1 to 2 minutes.
  4.  Whisk vigorously until the milk mixture is foamy, about 30 seconds.
  5. Pour the espresso or coffee into a large mug and add the foamed milk. Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice.

Tibet: Po Cha

Tibet is another place where the winters require a strong cup of warmness to heat your freezing insides. Po cha is a Tibetan drink, also called butter tea. The tea is salty rather than sweet, and is ideal for those who want to try a simple recipe from abroad.

Recipe

  • 4 cups of water
  • Plain black tea (2 individual teabags, like Lipton’s black tea, or two heaping spoons of loose tea)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter (salted or unsalted)
  • 1/3 cup half and half or milk
  1. First bring four cups of water to a boil.
  2. Put two bags of tea or two heaping tablespoons of loose tea in the water and let steep while the water is boiling for a couple of minutes.
  3. Add a heaping quarter of a teaspoon of salt.
  4. Take out the tea bags or if you use loose tea, strain the tea grounds.
  5. Add a third to a half cup of milk or a teaspoon of milk powder.
  6. Pour your tea mixture, along with two tablespoons of butter, into a chandong, which is a kind of churn. Since churns are kind of rare outside of Tibet, you can do what some Tibetans do, which is to use any big container with a lid, so you can shake the tea, or you can just use a blender, which works very well.
  7. Churn, blend or shake the mixture for two or three minutes. The Tibetans think the po cha tastes better if you churn it longer.

Turin, Italy: Bicerin

We expect nothing less from Italy than another chocolate drink, but this time with classic Italian espresso. Bicerin is actually Piedmontese (an Italian dialect) for small glass, which is what the drink is served in. Bicerin has been popular since the 18th century, and, though it may be small, it packs an energizing punch.

Recipe

  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3 oz chopped bittersweet chocolate
  • Italian espresso

1.Warm milk in a medium-sized saucepan with chopped bittersweet or semisweet chocolate. Whisk the mixture until it begins to boil, then let it boil for 1 minute, whisking constantly (the chocolate mixture will foam up a bit.)

2. Afterward, remove it from the heat and set aside. Make a small pot of very strong coffee, or good Italian espresso.

3.Fill the bottom third of a clear, heat-proof glass with the warm chocolate mixture. Pour in some coffee or espresso. (If you want to help it create a definite layer, pour it over the back of a spoon, into the glass.)

4. Top with whipped cream.

Mexico: Champurrado

This thick Mexican beverage is delicious and chocolatey, perfect as a sweet treat after a fun day spent out in the cold. Champurrado is popular in Mexico during the Christmas season for obvious reasons. The recipe is slightly more involved, but is worth the effort.

Recipe

  • 8 cups of water
  • 5 oz. of piloncillo or ½ cup of sugar
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 Mexican Chocolate tablets 6.5 ounces
  • ¾ cup of masa harina corn flour
  1. Place 6 cups of water in a large saucepan along with the piloncillo and the cinnamon stick.
  2. Heat water until it starts boiling and then reduce the heat and allow it to simmer for about 10 minutes until the piloncillo has melted.
  3. Once the piloncillo or sugar has dissolved, add the 2 Mexican Chocolate Tablets and allow about 5 minutes to dissolve, stirring from time to time.

Prioritizing Your Motivation: How Get The Most Out Of Your Business

By JIFU Success, Personal Development 18 Comments

Think back to a time when you were excited about an idea that you had. Do you remember the incredible feeling of excitement and all the ideas that ran through your mind? You could probably hardly wait to start working on making your new idea a reality.

That memorable feeling is called motivation and is one of the most important factors in success. Wired for Greatness(WFG) is an e-book written by JIFU’s co-founder Jeffery Boyle, where he details some of his secrets to success and offers valuable tips for self improvement. WFG Module 5 is about harnessing and sustaining the power of momentum and motivation. Here, we want to share some of the most important tips offered by Jeffery, though the book goes much further in depth. Download our new app (JIFU2.0) to read the full e-book and satisfy your desire to learn, grow, and succeed!

Three Types of Momentum

Maintaining motivation is all about how to keep your positive momentum active. The three most important types of momentum are momentum of thought, momentum of action, and momentum in a relationship. An active thought process naturally leads into action, which is often the most difficult to maintain momentum with. Momentum in a relationship is important because success often hinges professional connections.

“Without the momentum of thought, we tend not to make goals at all. We entertain ideas instead.”-Jeffery Boyle, WFG

Active Tips

Everyone feels stress, but managing anxiety will often help your productivity level. Another great tip is to recognize your time-wasting behavior so that you can stop procrastinating. Video games, apps, Facebook and other social media have been proven to deliver a little jolt of endorphins the more you indulge. However, the little jolt is not sustainable, nor does contribute to your personal momentum.

Four Step Back-in-Action Guide(Download the JIFU2.0 app to learn more)

  1. Recognize the problem
  2. Take a Step Back
  3. Reconsider
  4. Build a Road Map

Your Body and Mind are Connected

The connection between your physical and mental self is not groundbreaking knowledge, but acting on this knowledge is key. For example, sleep is vital to maintaining momentum and motivation. 7-9 hours of sleep is ideal, but the power of a nap is not to be underestimated. Similarly, exercise contributes massively to your ability to be productive later. If you combine exercise with learning new things, you’ll retain the information better so you can use it later”-Jeffery Boyle, WFG

These are only a few of the many pieces of advice offered by the Wired For Greatness e-book series. At JIFU, we want you to be able to reach your full potential by strengthening your body, mind, and business. Personal development is a key part of our amplified business strategies!
